Discount Marine Supplies.com is an internet retailer based in Pennsylvania. We accept orders via our website and then distribute those orders to one or more of our 14 regional warehouses located throughout the United States. We are a privately owned and operated company which shares no affilition with any other retailer, manufacturer or distributor of marine products. We have over 20 years experience in the marine industry and have been operating a successful internet retail business for over 10 years. We have long established business relationships with most major manufacturers and distributors which allow us to offer very low pricing and efficient order processing.
 
Our Business Model:

Our primary goal is to keep our overhead as low as possible while offering our customers low pricing and a large selection of products. We currently list approximately 20,000 products on our website. Most of these products are stocked in each of our warehouses. All of our sales and service is electronic. In other words everything is handled via our website, our email or our live chat help. We do not process orders via telephone or handle service issues via telephone as a method of keeping our costs (and prices) down. We will respond to your email or question as soon as possible. Often times during regular business hours within minutes. After hours or on weekdends you will receive a reply as soon as our offices reopen for business.
 
Your Personal Information:

We will never share or distribute your personal information to anybody under any circumstances. All of the information you provide to us remains privately held and secure in our files. We DO NOT have access to your personal payment (credit card or banking) information at any time. All of our payments are processed through a direct link from our website to our payment processors which are Paypal, Google Checkout and Amazon Checkout. Your vital payment information is NEVER at any point entered onto our website and furthermore at no point in time can we view your credit card numbers or vital information. All we receive is a message of "authorized" or "declined", thus we never at any point have access to anything other than your name, address, phone number, email address and the items you are ordering.  There is no possible way for our site to be more secure in terms of your vital information. It is never entered onto our website and it is never in our possession at any time.

Our Shipping Policy:

We believe that straightforward pricing is what is best for us and our customers. Therefore, we hold our U.S. Ground Shipping rate to a flat rate of $7.50 per order regardless of what you order or how many items you order. You'll never anything other than $7.50 unless you choose an expedited method such as UPS Next Day Air or a similar option. We will ship your order from the closest possible location to your destination address. Often it will be a 1-2 day delivery, however in some instances if your regional warehouse is out of stock we may have to ship from a more distant location. 

Our Shipping Guarantee:

We Guarantee your shipment to arrive to you within 5 business days of the day after your order. If for any reason your shipment does not arrive to you within 5 business days we will issue you a full refund of your Ground Shipping payment of $7.50. A business day is defined as a weekday and excludes any major holidays in which UPS or the US Postal Service does not either pickup packages or deliver packages. If your package is received after the 5 day guaranteed period, all you have to do is notify us of the delivery date, we will verify the tracking information validates your claim and then we will refund your shipping charges. 

Sales Tax:

We are only required to charge sales tax for orders shipping to Pennsylvania. All other 49 states are tax exempt.
