They are easily applied straight from the can. A tough finish is achieved that normally lasts 2-3 years prior to recoating. Application conditions are not as critical as the high performance coatings but the temperature should be above 50°F (10°C).

Bilgekote protects bilges, lockers and bulkheads against moisture penetration and wear and tear. Contains a mildicide to combat mold, resists absorption of oil, gasoline and sludge into wood and fiberglass. Bilgekote will resist oil and fuel spillage and cleans easily. High opacity for excellent covering power.
