Tie Down Dock Building Components

Designed for use with 1 1/2" thick lumber. A full set of hardware, rollers and fasteners to complete your dock project. All you need is the wood.

Tie Down Dock Building Components are designed to use with 1 1/2" thick lumber (Standard 2 x "X" sizes). All hardware is designed to be mounted using 3/8" carriage bolts (Item M). All male and female dock to dock connections are made with either 3/4" bolts and locknuts or 3/4" connecting pins (item O).

Match the items listed below with the item on the diagram.

  • (A) Outside Corner (female) has two 1/2" welded tabs. Use with male outside corner (B). Each leg is 10"L x 5" H.
  • (B) Outside Corner (male) has one 1/2" welded tab. Use with a female outside corner to connect docks end to end. Joint requires 3/4" bolt set (N) or connector pin (O). Each leg is 10"L x 5"H.
  • (C) Outside Corner End. Use this corner at ends of fingers and docks. Ideal for swim floats and ski jump corners. Each leg is 10"L x 5"H
  • (D) Inside Corner. This heavy duty inside corner should be used with one of the outside corners. Each leg has elongated holes for easy fit up and is 8 1/2"L x 5"H.
  • (E) Inside Corner/Pipe Holder. These heavy duty inside corners should be used with one of the outside corners and has an internal pipe holder to be used with either 2" or 3" pipe. Measures 8 1/2"L x 5"H.
  • (F) Angle Bracket. Use this heavy duty angle for all cross supports. Each leg measures 2 1/2"L x 5"H.
  • (G) Female T connector. Has two welded 1/2" tabs. Bolts to side of dock to attach fingers and ramps. 5"L x 5"H.
  • (H) Male T connector. has one welded 1/2" tab. Use with female T connector (G) to attach fingers and ramps. 5"L x 5"H
  • (I) Washer Plate. use two washer plates with each angle. Measures 1 1/2"L x 5"H
  • (J) Chain Retainer. Bolts to side of dock. Use weights and chains to hold dock in place. Accomodates 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" chain. Measures 5"L x 5"H.
  • (K) Pipe Holder/Outside. Bolts to outside of dock. Uses 2" pipe to hold dock in place.
  • (L) Lag Bolt Set. Bolt and flat washer hot dipped galvanized, used to attach flotation drums to dock system. Comes in 3 sizes.
  • (M) Carriage bolt Set. Used to attach A through K component parts. 3/8" x 2 1/2" bolt, flat washer and nut. Hot dipped galvanized.
  • (O) Connector Pin Set. For quick disconnect. Used to connect male and female T connectors. Galvanized 3/4" connector pin and hitch clip pin.
  • (Q) Back up plates. 5" x 5" reinforcing plates are used to back up the single T male and female connectors.
