without welding! Pre-drilled for mounting TACO Grand Slams.
TACO’s
Clamp-On plates are designed for 3/4" and 1" IPS pipe and 1" x 1-1/2" oval pipe,
common on most T-top outer rings and radar arches. Recessed screw design allows
the clamp to capture both the T-Top pipe and the special mounting plate.
The Original Wishbone Style Outrigger Holder has been in production for over
45 years. Setting the standard for the industry, the "Junior" outrigger holder
has often been imitated, but never equaled. Its ease of operation, adjustable
fishing angle, ability to lay down for bridges and small footprint makes it the
ideal holder for a multitude of boats.
Constructed of heavy duty brass forgings, heavy wall brass pipe and a
stainless steel main tube. The three point mounting system provides maximum
strength and distributes the stress to the mounting surface over a wide area.
This holder can be mounted vertically or angled toward the stern. Somewhere
between twenty to thirty five degrees is normal.
The "Junior" design has a 2" x 18" Main Tube for use with Lees deluxe
19ft. single spreader poles and non-spreader poles up to 22ft.
To deploy the rigger into the fishing position, simply open the locking
gate and loosen the clamp housing. The clamp housing then slides down the main
tube until you either lock it or it meets the stop collar for a preset fishing
position. To lower the unit for passing under bridges, the locking gate stays
closed and the clamp remains locked to the top of the main tube. The eye bolt is
removed, thus separating the clamp housing from the wishbone. The main tube is
then lowered into the supplied lay down hook.
For open boats, a popular holder of extremely simple design. Strongly made
with only one moving part. Base plate is one pice with heavy duty locating bar
instead of pin used by others. Solid end of tube has four way locating slots. By
lifting and rotating tube, desired position is obtained. When tube is removed
nothing projects so deck is unobstructed. Brass chrome plated construction.
Flange size is 3 1/2" x 6" and tube size is 1 3/4"
Below top operation. Fully
locked in Running and 80 degree out Trolling positions. Locks when handle is up
or down. Rotates when handle is to the left or right. Fastest Lay-Down on the
market. Automatically locks in position when raising or lowering the pole. No
knobs to loosen or tighten. Just pull down the Ridged Collar and lower or raise
the pole. No ball bearings to rust. Internal Delrin and nylon bearing surfaces
provide smooth operation and prevent metal to metal contact.
Accepts 16Ft Extra Strong
(AP3916XS) or 18Ft (AP3918) Outrigger Pole. Has 4"x6" Mounting plate. Extends
14" above and 8-1/2" below mounting plate. Fits all outrigger ready
boats.
1-1/8" ID Sport Slam Outrigger Bases. Innovative bolt down mount, Ideal
for smaller center consoles from 15 to 21 feet. Operates from above the top with
an easy spring pin that offers multiple fishing positions. Also has the lay down
arm feature for bridge clearance and trailering.
