Fiberglass Bottomkote NT (New Technology) is formulated with a unique, Dual Resin Technology that allows a boat owner to benefit from the advantages in both ablative and hard antifouling paints. Fiberglass Bottomkote NT is a very durable coating, preventing premature wear-through, yet it has a slow polishing effect that keeps the hull clean & smooth without the heavy paint build-up you can get year after year with a traditional hard antifouling. With its fast drying properties, you can paint and launch the boat the same day!  Fiberglass Bottomkote NT is a universal product for most substrates (excluding aluminum) and it's an affordable choice!

Fiberglass Bottomkote® ACT with Irgarol® uses Ablative Copolymer Technology providing excellent season-to-season protection. Ablative Copolymer Technology enables it to wear away with use and eliminates the build-up of sold spent coatings and the heavy sanding needed to remove them.

Fiberglass Bottomkote® ACT with Irgarol® contains cuprous oxide and Irgarol®. The Irgarol® works to control weed, slime and algae fouling while the cuprous oxide works to control shell fouling such as barnacles and zebra mussels. This keeps the bottom of your boat cleaner for longer. It provides excellent protection against all forms of marine fouling in waters with moderate to heavy fouling and can be used in fresh, salt and brackish water.

The innovative copper-copolymer formula of Micron CSC provides a controlled release of antifouling biocide at the paint surface, which means that the longevity of the coating is related to the amount of paint applied.

Micron CSC will not lose its effectiveness when hauled out of the water for extended periods of time (such as winter storage). All that is needed to reactivate the paint in the spring is to wash the surface using a stiff brush or lightly powerwash.

The antifouling ingredients are chemically bonded into Micron Extra’s copolymer matrix, which is engineered to gradually wear away as the boat moves through the water, much like a bar of soap. This self-polishing process results in the constant, controlled delivery of biocides from freshly exposed paint film surface, and assures consistent, long-lasting performance and maximum efficiency.

The new and improved fast dry formula of Ultra allows you to paint and launch the same day. Ultra provides excellent long-term protection from shell and weed fouling. Ultra contains a very high loading of cuprous oxide and uses Biolux® technology to block slime. Ultra is recommended for use wherever the fouling challenge is severe, and can be used in fresh, salt and brackish water on fiberglass, wood and properly primed steel boat hulls and parts. Even though Ultra has a very high loading of cuprous oxide it has excellent color stability and resists changing color at the waterline.

The ideal Aluminum Bottom Paint, Trilux 33 a new tin-free antifouling formulated to provide safe, effective protection for aluminum boats, outdrives & outboards, or where a bright color or bright white is required. It is based on the latest Biolux® Technology, for improved control of slime and algae growth. It replaces Trilux and Micron 33. Trilux 33 is for use below the waterline on underwater boat hulls and parts in fresh, salt and brackish water and can be brush or roller applied.

While the most common area of use for Trilux 33 is on aluminum as it is more compatible to aluminum than any other boat paint. Do not use conventional antifouling paints that contain cuprous oxide on aluminum as it will cause galvanic corrosion. Trilux® 33 contains very little copper ions and therefore is much more compatible to aluminum. Please follow proper priming procedure when painting aluminum.

When it comes time to recoat the next year no sanding is required, just clean and apply. Now that's easy!

VC17m Extra contains metallic copper and Biolux Slime blocking technology to protect your boat from zebra mussels, teredo worms, weed, algae and slime fouling. It’s the ideal paint for the Great Lakes, inland lakes and low fouling saltwater areas.

How Biolux Technology Works As sunlight diffracts through the water, it provides energy for algae to use in colonizing on the boat hull. Biolux acts at the surface of the paint film to inhibit the algae’s ability to conduct photosynthesis. Algae cannot therefore grow on the surface of the paint. Without Biolux, the surface of the paint film becomes coated with a layer of slime. That coating inhibits the release of copper, the primary antifouling agent in Ultra. Here, Biolux keeps the paint surface cleaner, allowing a greater release of copper. The resin technology system then assures a more even release over an extended period of time. What this means for boaters is simple: Biolux boosts antifouling performance by reducing slime build up. This assures less drag, better fuel efficiency, less time spent scrubbing boat bottoms and, finally, longer lasting antifouling paint.

VC Offshore is a high strength antifouling paint with Teflon® for use in saltwater. It yields a hard, very smooth finish for maximum durability, reduced friction and increased performance. VC Offshore combines superior antifouling performance with a super smooth low friction surface for the performance conscious boater. VC Offshore is further enhanced by the addition of Teflon®.

Teflon® not only helps reduce drag but also makes it easier to wet sand and burnish to make it even smoother. For use on fiberglass, wood and primed underwater metals (except aluminum). Can be used in fresh, salt and brackish waters.

VC Performance Epoxy's hard, stain-resistant finish is also ideal for rack-stored and trailered boats or boats that are kept in the water not requiring antifouling protection. VC Performance Epoxy has no antifouling or foul release properties.
